CSPOs

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council employ Community Safety Patrol Officers (CSPOs). Their focus is on reducing anti-social behaviour affecting people and places to help improve the wellbeing of local residents and make people feel safer.

The three key aims are to:

  • reduce levels of crime and anti-social behaviour
  • reduce the fear of crime and increase public reassurance
  • improve information-sharing and partnership working between organisations.
